This year the 7th North American Native Film Festival took place in Stuttgart, Germany, and some members of One Spirit Germany decided to visit it. The festival is a good opportunity to strengthen our network by making contacts with other organizations which are also active for Native Americans. At the same time this festival offers a lot of interesting documentaries and movies and the opportunity to exchange ideas and opinions with other people.
We are so grateful to all who have donated to our Wood for Home Heat program. Because of your kindness, we've been able to deliver wood to the many Lakota families who have asked for our help.

Every month we receive calls from hopeful families asking how they can get on our food distribution list. Every month, we assure them we will add them if we can get the funding.
These calls are difficult to answer. This month it was a grandparent caring for 6 grandchildren, an elder who lives alone and had neither wood nor food, a family who was completely without food and needed food to feed both their children and the elderly family members who live with them... and the calls go on.
Our director Jeri Baker was recently interviewed by the Huffington Post.
